Fog disrupts flights from Leeds

THICK FOG across parts of Yorkshire has disrupted travel this afternoon, with several flights into Leeds Bradford Airport cancelled or diverted.

Travellers were being advised to contact their airline or tour operator before arriving at the airport, and to allow extra time to get there.

Flights from London, Belfast and Aberdeen have so far been cancelled, and journeys from Amsterdam, Palma and Berlin diverted to Doncaster and Manchester Airports.
