Police in parts of Yorkshire have warned motorists not to travel due to heavy snow. Several hours of snow has fallen across various parts of the county, with Sheffield, Leeds and North Yorkshire all blanketed.
Buses have been delayed or diverted including in Leeds, Halifax, Huddersfield and Bradford.
The latest forecast is for the snow to turn to rain but an amber weather warning remains in place until 1pm.

Amber weather warning for Leeds
Emergency services at incident near railway - train lines blocked
Emergency services are dealing with an incident near the railway.
Train lines are blocked between Leeds and Normanton.
A Northern spokesman said: "Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident near the railway between Normanton and Leeds all lines are blocked.
"Services are unable to run between Wakefield Kirkgate and Leeds via Castleford.
"Train services running through these stations will be diverted.
“Disruption is expected until 9am.”

There is a yellow weather warning for snow and ice in place in Leeds and Yorkshire.
The Met office is warning of travel delays on roads stranding some vehicles and passengers, with bus and train services potentially delayed or cancelled.
