Video: Protesters rain on Bradford’s big parade
A PARADE was held through Bradford today to mark the city’s second “Positive” day - as an occupation continued at the site of the stalled Westfield shopping centre.
Protesters have been at the Westfield site - a large hole in the city centre - since last month, annoyed at the lack of progress on the long-awaited development.
Today’s parade went ahead despite pouring rain, and organisers insisted the event would make Bradfordians “feel better about the city”.
