Video: Winter wonderland... and forecast for the week

The snow has brought the usual threats of traffic chaos - but also some picturesque scenes across Yorkshire. Enjoy the view, while checking out the forecast for the county the rest of the week.

Monday afternoon: Snow persisting in many places. Accumulations up to 10cm are generally expected, but possibly to 15cm over high ground.

Tonight, snow will clear away southwards this evening, with broken cloud and scattered snow showers following, leading to widespread ice on untreated surfaces. Later heavy snow showers arriving along the coast

Tuesday will be largely cloudy at first with snow showers, some heavy, and so giving further accumulations. The snow showers will become light and isolated through the day, as sunny intervals develop. Cold.

Wednesday to Friday: Cold, with further snow showers, hard overnight frosts and ice on untreated surfaces. Snow showers are likely to be most frequent Tuesday night into Wednesday, then become isolated and lighter.
