Wells classic gets remake for BBC
A slice of classic science fiction has been remade for television starring one of the men behind the hit Sherlock.
Mark Gatiss, who made his name as a member of surreal comics The League Of Gentlemen, will appear on BBC4 in HG Wells’s story The First Men In The Moon as the eccentric Professor Cavor. Also starring is Rory Kinnear, who recounts the story to a young boy in 1969.
