The film was set in a photo booth at a wedding and depicts a marriage proposal. It was created as a gift to his sister and her fiancée who both star in the film.

Mr Lee, who attended Bradford’s Scala Kids stage school and Intake High School Arts College, in Leeds, said he was “over the moon” to win.

He added: “I’ve never won a anything before. There has been such a amazing response to both my short film and my first ever Web Series www.wirelessweb.london.

“From an early age at Scala, then Intake, acting’s always been my passion and it’s a real honour to now be praised for my directing.”
