Both the men are described as white and aged between 30 and 35. One was described as being 6ft 3ins tall, of skinny build, either bald or with a shaved head, of pale complexion and with a scar on the right-hand side of his face. He was wearing light blue jeans, trainers and a baseball cap.

The other man was described as being around 5ft 7ins tall and of a slim build. He was wearing a dark blue tracksuit.

Detective Constable Shaun Topham, of Kirklees District CID, said: “The victim has given chase and we understand that the men have run off across playing fields off Leeds Road before getting in to a burgundy coloured vehicle. We are also interested in speaking to anyone who has seen this car in the vicinity.”
