Wicked Queen and panto cast bring festive fun to patients
Coronation Street star Margi Clarke, who plays a Wicked Queen in the Lyceum’s production of Sleeping Beauty, was joined by other members of the cast for the visit, including pantomime dame Damian Williams. The costumed actors read stories to a group of patients, and their visit was also designed to help publicise the Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity’s latest appeal.
The charity’s workers raise money for improvements and equipment which are not funded by the hospital’s NHS budget.
