Widdecombe dances through her grief

Grieving Ann Widdecombe will carry on with tonight's Strictly Come Dancing because her late brother loved it so much.

The former MP said her niece will be in the audience spurring her on tomorrow evening on the BBC1 show. Her retired clergyman brother Malcolm, who had cancer, died earlier this week. She was also typically dismissive of her abilities on the dancefloor, describing herself as a “complete elephant”.
