Wife accused of killing husband, 75
A 67-year-old woman was remanded in custody charged with murdering her elderly husband.
Patricia Wakeford spoke only to confirm her name and address during the brief hearing at Guildford Magistrates’ Court, Surrey.
She is accused of killing Tony Wakeford, 75, at their home in Norwood Road, Effingham, Surrey, in the early hours of Saturday.
Mr Wakeford died from a stab wound to the heart.
