Wimbledon goes mobile

Tennis fans will be able to watch live feeds from Wimbledon on mobiles and tablets for the first time this year.

BBC coverage of the 126th championships, which starts on Monday, allows viewers with the gadgets to access live feeds from the courts, as well as highlights, features and interviews.

For the second year running, as part of a two-year-trial, people will be able to watch selective live coverage of the ladies’ and men’s singles finals in 3D, available to anyone with a 3D TV set and HD channels, regardless of which digital TV provider they use.

Sue Barker presents the BBC’s daily coverage on BBC One, BBC One HD, BBC Two and the BBC HD Channel, while John Inverdale presents Today at Wimbledon on BBC Two and HD.
