Around 80 budding young stars took to the stage to battle for a role in a West Yorkshire Playhouse production of The Wiz.

Josette Bushell-Mingo, perhaps best known for her role as Rafiki in The Lion King, is directing the production, based on the much-loved classic The Wizard Of Oz.
