Woman, 86, injuredin scooter accident
An 86-year-old woman suffered injuries to her head, chest and ankle after being hit by a scooter in Scarborough.
She was crossing Burniston Road near to the Peasholm roundabout at around 2.55pm yesterday when she was hit by a Piaggio scooter driven by a 72-year-old man. Both parties were taken to hospital. Police have asked for any witnesses to the incident to contact them on 0845 6060247.
