Woman and man arrested over body find

Police are treating the death of a woman found at an address in Perseverance Place, Holmfirth, on Sunday, as suspicious.

Yesterday police said they were contacted at 11pm on Saturday by the family of a 30-year-old woman, concerned that she had not been seen since before Christmas.

Officers attended the Holmfirth address where a body was found.

The death is being treated as suspicious and a 28-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman have been arrested. Both were in custody yesterday. Yesterday forensic examinations were taking place at the scene and a post mortem was due to be held.
