She has been handed a summons to appear at court at a later date on charges of wounding with intent and for breach of a Criminal Behaviour Order.

Three police officers also attempted to arrest a 22-year-old Grimsby man on Saturday night and had bloody splattered on to their faces.

The man has been charged with three offences including assault of a police officer and making threats and using threatening behaviour.

He has been bailed to appear at court at a later date.

A force spokesperson said: “Our officers put themselves in harm’s way to help protect innocent people, behaviour like this is never acceptable and we will deal firmly with anyone who assaults our police officers and PCSOs as they carry out their duties.”
