Woman critical after drug use at music venue

A woman remains in a critical condition after taking drugs at a music venue visited by a man who died of a suspected drug incident last week, police said.

Detectives issued a drugs warning last weekend after Nick Bonnie, 30, from Stroud, in Gloucestershire, died and five other people were taken to hospital after going to the Warehouse Project in Trafford, Manchester.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said a 32-year-old woman taken to hospital on Friday night was put into an induced coma and her condition remained “stable but critical” yesterday.

A 32-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possessing and supplying drugs has been bailed.
