Woman fighting for life after crash near hotel in Hull

A woman suffered life-threatening injuries when two cars crashed near a hotel in Hull yesterday.

The green Ford Fusion and a black VW Tiguan collided outside the Albert Hotel in Anlaby Road at 12.30pm.

A Humberside Police spokesman today said: "The female driver of the Ford Fusion is thought to have suffered a medical episode at the wheel.

"She was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary where she remains in a life threatening condition."

Anyone who witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken to police is asked to call the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 203 of 08/08/17.
