Woman held over death of two-year-old girl

Police found the body of the girl, who has not been named, at an

address at Naylor Court at 2pm yesterday.

Officers were called in following a request from healthcare workers.

A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "Inside the property officers found the body of a two-year-old girl. A 29-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder."

The spokeswoman said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

A post mortem is expected to be carried out today to establish the cause of death.

It is understood the woman has mental health issues.
