Woman injured in Leeds city centre bus crash UPDATED

A pedestrian has been injured after a bus hit a bus shelter in the centre of Leeds.

The female, in her 60s, was thought to have been standing at the bus stop outside HSBC on Park Row, Leeds, when the incident happened at about 1.20pm.

It is believed that during the collision, the wing mirror clipped the bus stop, and part of the shelter fell on to the woman.

Paramedics treated her at the scene for head injuries which are not thought to be serious.

She is understood to have suffered cuts on the top of her head and bump on her back from the impact.
