Woman jailed for faking rape scenes
A woman who staged elaborate rape scenes and then called police saying she had been sexually assaulted was jailed for two years.
Gail Sherwood, 52, of Thrupp, Stroud, Gloucestershire,told officers she was attacked and raped her as she returned to her car from walking her dogs. She was found naked from the waist down on one occasion.
Sherwood was convicted of three charges of perverting the course of justice.
