Wool goes up the wall

A GIANT artwork inspired by one of David Hockney's most famous paintings has been unveiled at the Yorkshire Agricultural Society's headquarters.

The 20ft by 10ft wall hanging made from dyed wool is an adaption of the Bradford-born artist's Going up Garrowby Hill. Lord and Lady Halifax, whose home is at Garrowby, unveiled the new artwork at the agricultural society's headquarters at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.
