Work beginning on £3.5m improvements at school

Work on a new £3.5m school which will provide more than 420 children with access to a better learning environment is getting underway.

Greenhill Primary School, in Bramley, Leeds, will be part refurbished and part rebuilt. Once completed the school will be housed in a purpose-designed single building that will include new Key Stage 1 and 2 classrooms, a new hall, reception area, main office space, community room, practical space and school library.

There will also be new landscaped play areas, a new pedestrian entrance to the school and a new football pitch which will be laid when one of the school’s old buildings is demolished.
