Gifts fit for a Queen . . .

AN Aussie Rules football, a bowl of “Roo stew” and some scones were among gifts presented to the Queen during a visit to the Clontarf Aboriginal College in Perth yesterday.

As the Duke of Edingburgh toured a mining research project, the Queen went to the college which teaches indigenous youngsters from across Western Australia.

She was given a small dish of the kangaroo stew during a visit to the home economics department as she toured the college, which has around 200 students.
