Pacific Rim states back open trade
The 21-member Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation forum wrapped up a summit in the far eastern Russian seaport of Vladivostok vowing to work together to support growth and restore confidence in financial markets.
Russian President Vladimir Putin described the talks as constructive.

Hide AdThe leaders issued a statement welcoming European leaders’ promises to help to stabilise the eurozone and warning against “excess volatility” and distortions in financial markets. They said they would work to reduce deficits in their own countries.
