Protester says it with flowers

Police prevented hundreds of anti-austerity protesters from entering the city’s central plaza where they have held numerous demonstrations since May, railing against the political status quo. Two years of recession following a property boom that went bust have left Spain with 21 per cent unemployment – the highest in the 17-nation eurozone. Joblessness for those aged 16 to 29 stands at about 35 per cent.
