Workmen left a council red-faced with their bus stop road marking by misspelling it Bus Sotp.
Contractors, working for Kirklees Council, committed the gaffe as they re-painted road markings on Wellington Road, Dewsbury. Council officials ordered the error to be altered. A spokesman said: "The work was done by contractors working on behalf of the council and was quickly rectified at no extra cost."
