Would ewe believe it? Police find live sheep in car boot
A DRIVER dailed to pull the wool over the eyes of traffic police, who discovered a live sheep in the boot of a car.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police’s Roads Policing Group found the unlikely passenger after pulling the car over near Leeming Bar yesterday.
The @NYorksRPG account tweeted: “Ewe have got to be kidding!!! Officers have just stopped this car which has two bald tyres and a sheep in the boot.”
They added: “Allegedly had just been through the “Golden Arches” drive through at #LeemingBar #otherfastfoodisavailable.”
