Would you care to dance?
Led by 50 dancers on stage from RJC Dance, Yorkshire Dance Youth, Northern School of Contemporary Dance and Phoenix Dance Theatre’s Youth Academy, Leeds Council and local charity Space2 are looking to put on a 2,012-dancer performance on Sunday June 24 to mark the Olympic Torch passing through the city. There will also be performance poetry and a mass sing led by international singer, jazz pianist and choirmaster Pete Churchill.
