Yorkshire councils' £13m fraud drive
More than 15,900 cases of fraud involving £13.4m were uncovered by Yorkshire councils last year.
Thousands of instances of council tax and benefit cheating were detected in the county and Yorkshire had the third highest number of detected frauds in the country according to an Audit Commission report.
