Thousands of people are expected to descend on Harewood House in West Yorkshire on Father’s Day (June 21) as the show comes of age in its 21st year. Hundreds of classic and vintage cars will adorn the spectacular grounds of the family seat of the Earl and Countess of Harewood, as car owners vie for top place in a number of categories.

And this year the event will write its own chapter in motoring history as the show pays tribute to the Land Rover Defender, which is due to go out of production in its current form at the end of this year. Lisa Bradbury, senior events coordinator for Yorkshire Post Newspapers, said: “We are delighted to be organising this year’s Father’s Day Motor Show and Classic Car event in the grounds of Harewood House.
