Yorkshire is set for another sizzling week of sunshine - with very little rain forecast for the coming seven days.

The Met Office has warned temperatures could hit highs of 27-28 degrees C this week as blazing sunshine continues across the county.

After a cloudy - but still warm - start, temperatures will peak towards the end of the week, with sunshine and 28 degree heat on Friday.

Cloud will be broken with periods of very warm, locally hot sunshine, especially in south. Intermittent rain is possible at first over northern hills, with isolated thundery shower possible later. Maximum temperature 28 °C.
