A LORRY driver looked like he needed a crash course behind the wheel, after police tweeted his HGV overturned on a country lane in West Yorkshire.
The driver was calling for more support when police arrived, tweeting a picture from the scene and criticising his parking skills.
Police said the HGV driver was following his Sat Nav down a secluded country lane near Methley, when the lorry got stuck and fell off the track.
West Yorkshire Police tweeted: “Oops, HGV driver got stuck on a single track road in Methley whilst following his SatNav!”, using the hashtag #youcantparkthere.
The picture was quickly retweeted by unsympathetic social media users.
Darren Ellis replied saying: “Whoops expensive recovery coming up”.
Steve Foster said: “Not much of a driver if he can’t see that’s not a suitable route for HGV”.
