Young men pay more to keep up appearances

Young men are now spending more on looking good than women, according to a poll.

Altogether 3,000 18- to 35-year-olds in the UK were quizzed about their health, fitness and beauty regimes, revealing a narrowing in the gender divide.

On average, men now spend 11.72 a week on their appearance – 1 more than women and men now spend 25 minutes getting ready for work, only five minutes less than women.
