Youth, 17, left seriously injured by street assault
A YOUTH aged 17 has been seriously injured in an assault in a Yorkshire seaside resort.
Two men, both aged 22, from Scarborough, have been arrested in connection with the incident and were in police custody yesterday.
The 17-year-old suffered a wound to his abdomen at 8.55pm on Thursday on William Street and was taken to Scarborough District Hospital.
Police do not believe the assault is connected to any other incidents in Scarborough.
