You could be a Yorkshire Post sports writer for the day or even try your hand as a game keeper on a North Yorkshire estate.

Or if sport isn’t your passion but you still want to go behind the scenes at The Yorkshire Post then join us for a special tour and the chance to take part in morning conference where the key stories of the day are decided.

Support Dogs receives a plea for help every 8 hours from families and individuals struggling to live with the affects of autism, epilepsy or physical disability.

And the difference Support Dogs can make is truly amazing, but they can’t do it without your help.

Richard Page, Managing Director of Wagg Foods, sponsors of the appeal, said: “There has been great interest in the auction this year and we’re delighted with the results so far for Support Dogs. I hope people get behind the auction on its final day and give this fantastic charity as much support as possible.”

Another exclusive opportunity on offer this week is at Newby Hall and Gardens where you can enjoy a private tour of the award-winning gardens with head gardener Mark Jackson.

Other lots include a trip to the capital of chocolate York for a masterclass at York Cocoa House or dinner, bed and breakfast at the £3m refurbished Best Western Monkbar Hotel.

Alternatively, you can enjoy a VIP night at Aladdin at the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield with the chance to meet stars of the show or indulge with a bespoke dinner in your house cooked by the French Chef at Home.
