Hull police seek witnesses after man on scooter seriously injured in crash

A man riding a scooter was seriously injured after being involved in a collision with a car in Hull.

Humberside Police issued an appeal for witnesses today as they continue to investigate the crash.

It happened on Hall Road, near to the junction with Orchard Park Road, on Friday, August 10.

A spokesman said: "A black Vauxhall Astra SRI and a silver Lifan 125 scooter were involved in the collision around 10pm.

"The man riding the scooter was taken to hospital with arm and chest injuries which were serious but not life threatening. The car driver was unhurt."
