Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash in East Yorkshire village

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after being involved in a crash in East Yorkshire yesterday.

Now Humberside Police wants to hear from anyone who saw the black Scott Flying Squirrel motorcycle being ridden through Sutton on Derwent that afternoon.

A spokesman said: "At 1.45pm yesterday we were called to reports of a motorcyclist having left Sandhill Lane in Sutton on Derwent and crashed.

"The rider has suffered serious, but not life-threatening, injuries in the collision."

Anyone who saw the motorcycle being ridden before the crash is asked to call 101, quoting log 334 29/07/18.
