Police renew appeal to trace family of man found dead in Hornsea home

Police have renewed their appeal to trace the family of a man who was found dead at his home in Hornsea.

Humberside Police said today that they now believe Trevor Pickard might have relatives living in North Yorkshire.

The 64-year-old was found dead by neighbours at his house in New Road on June 28.

A force spokesman said: "We have followed up a number of lines of enquiry but have so far been unable to find them.

"However, Mr Pickard could have relatives in Sherburn in North Yorkshire, and he also used to live at an address near York."

Mr Pickard's death is not being treated as suspicious.

Any relatives or anyone with information is asked to call Humberside Police via 101, quoting log 210 of June 28.
