Detectives investigating the death of a man from stab wounds after a disturbance in the Great Horton area of Bradford, are now treating the incident as a murder case.
Police were called to Cecil Avenue at 10.18pm this morning following reports of a fight between a group of people with weapons.
Upon arrival three men, aged 27, 32 and 35, were found with stab wounds.
They were taken to hospital, where the 35-year-old man died a short time later.
The 32-year-old man remains in hospital in a stable condition, while the 27-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman have now been released from hospital after receiving treatment.
Seven men aged between 19-38 have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody at this time.
Senior Investigating Officer at West Yorkshire Police, Detective Chief Inspector Mark Swift, said: “Our investigations are still at an early stage, but we believe this to be an isolated incident and possibly linked to a family dispute.
“We are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with this incident, but would ask anyone who may have further information to contact police on 101, quoting log number 1681 of 14 April, or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
