Sheffield Sharks produce stirring fightback to eclipse Newcastle Eagles on Sky Sports

Sheffield Sharks won on the road at Newcastle Eagles for the second Friday night in a row, this time in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

Sharks won 89-77 to maintain their push for a top-four finish in the BBL Championship.

Trailing 44-35 at the half-time interval, Sharks launched a stirring comeback in the third quarter to level the scores before pulling away in the fourth quarter.

Jeremy Hemsley led the scoring with 24 points but Jordan Ratinho’s 13 rebounds proved just as crucial, as did his 17 points.

Kipper Nichols was a driving force in the second half, adding 13 points.
