JUST 12 games in and Uwe Rosler has discovered how much of a temporary posting the position of Leeds United manager actually is.
The mild-mannered German became the fifth managerial casualty of Massimo Cellino’s 18-month tenure early on Monday morning and, if that were not enough of a surprise, the announcement soon after that former Rotherham United manager Steve Evans had been appointed as his successor was completely unexpected.
The YP’s chief football writer Richard Sutcliffe joins SportsTalk host Phil Harrison to discuss the latest situation at Elland Road and where the club now goes under Evans as they sit 18th in the Championship table.
We also cast our eye over the weekend’s games involving Yorkshire’s clubs - including the White Rose derbies between Sheffield Wednesday and Hull City and Doncaster Rovers’ Keepmoat Clash with Bradford City.
We also look ahead to the midweek football programme, in particular Huddersfield’s visit from MK Dons and Leeds’s trip to Fulham on Wednesday night.
