West Park Leeds ran rings round their rivals with a 12-try spree, winger Sam Booth scoring four as well as landing five conversions.

Simon Towler, who came on as a replacement on the other wing, also touched down as well as kicking two conversions. Other tries were from centres Ben Morgan and Stewart McLure, full-back Jason Whitehead, prop Paul Minns, stand-off Matt Stevens, No 8 John Fletcher and Nick Nightingale, who was playing on the wing when he scored.

Old Otliensians led all the way to score a 31-12 home win over Halifax Vandals, who competed well, in the second round of the Yorkshire Silver Trophy.
