Beach spectacle will be back after winter lay-off

THE horses from the White Rose Polo Club near Market Weighton are enjoying a break but after Christmas their winter training will resume on the beach at Bridlington.

"It's always a bit of a spectacle which people enjoy coming along to watch," said Claudia Weiler, managing director of the polo school and livery.

The club, established in 2007, have just completed their fourth competitive season and has almost 60 members.

The dates of the beach polo sessions will be announced early in the New Year.
