Binks puts block on for Horsforth

Their resolute defence was epitomised by Chris Binks, who came in at No 5 and scored just two runs in negotiating 46 overs as his side finished their 50 overs on 44-7 to earn a point.

Burley and Kirkstall Educational continue to lead the pack in Division One, both claiming three wins out of three.

Charlie Davy led the way for Burley, scoring 78 in their 173-7 before Nick Brook, Jason Wright and Shane Etherington each picked up three wickets to dismiss Otley for 135.

Jos Siddall (76) and Steve Harrison (53) top scored in Kirkstall's 190, then Siddall (4-48) joined forces with Joe Gibson who took five wickets for the second time this season as Thackley struggled to 109.

Last season's runners-up Rawdon are missing Denis Rock and Andrew Doidge and crashed to their third defeat despite a battling 69 from Jamie Pickering. They were bowled out for 142 in 40.1 overs in reply to Green Lane's 206-6, which included a third successive half-century for Phil Atkinson.

An undefeated half-century from Adam Waite was the highlight as Guiseley notched their second win, beating Collingham by five wickets.

Phil Timmens has played a big part as Bilton have made a perfect start to their Division Two campaign, his 4-47 in the win over Olicanian taking his tally to 15 wickets in three games. Darren Blenkiron was also in good form, hitting 89 not out.

Tong Park Esholt's LukeWaters (136no) hit his second century in a row and with Fawad Maqsood (72no) helped his side to 258-1 and on their way to five points at Silsden.

Grant McDonald's 15-over spell brought him 6-30 as Follifoot were dismissed for 84 in reply to Steeton's 241-5.
