Blythe earns route back to top with Orica

Sheffield’s Adam Blythe is set to sign a two-year deal with Orica GreenEdge from next season.

The 24-year-old has won the Ride London Classic and the Otley Grand Prix during a stellar summer for British squad NFTO Procycling.

He stepped down to that level last winter after losing his job on the roster of world tour team BMC Racing.

But he has done enough to earn another shot at the elite level with Australian-based outfit Orica, who have shown by giving Simon Yates and Adam Yates a start in the Tour de France and Vuelta a Espana, respectively, that they are not afraid of throwing young British riders into the biggest races.
