Bradford city v Hereford united: Bantams so eager to get back in action

League two: Peter Taylor admits his Bradford City are itching to get back into action after two blank weekends.

The Bantams last played on November 23 when a second half goal from Jason Price was enough to earn a point at home to Accrington Stanley.

Since then, being knocked out of the FA Cup in the first round and last week's Arctic weather mean City have been without a game – much to the frustration of the players.

Taylor said: "It has been a long time so the lads are desperate for the Hereford game to be on. Unfortunately, at our level the vast majority of clubs don't have great indoor facilities. And those that you do find, nine times out of 10 they are not big enough. We have found that this week.

"The pleasing thing is we have still managed to train hard. We knew quite early on last week that the Aldershot game was unlikely to be on so we worked the lads hard in training. We then began our preparations for Hereford, who have won more games away than they have at home."
