Breaking: Bradford appoint Potter as coach

Michael Potter is the new Bradford Bulls Head Coach for 2011, the club confirmed today.

Potter (46), who was Assistant Coach to Matthew Elliott at Bradford from 1996 to 1999, will take the helm after the end of the current season.

Commenting on the appointment, Bulls Chairman Peter Hood said: "Mick was initially intent on returning home to Australia at the end of the current Engage Super League season. I'm delighted we were able to persuade him to change his mind and instead commit the next two years to Bradford Bulls.

"We are excited at the prospect of welcoming back one of our own, an exceptionally talented Head Coach with a proven track record of success."
