Capello to meet Terry
England manager Fabio Capello showed his knee has stood up well to recent surgery as he rushed his way through a media scrum awaiting him at Heathrow Airport in London yesterday.
Capello, who had been recuperating in Switzerland following the operation, is expected to talk to John Terry today about his future as England captain following the storm over the player's alleged affair with an underwear model. Terry has so far made no announcement about his position with the Three Lions following claims that he had a liaison with Vanessa Perroncel, the ex-partner of former Chelsea team-mate Wayne Bridge.
The Football Association have made it clear that Capello alone will decide the 29-year-old Chelsea defender's fate – assuming Terry does not resign.
