Wath turned round 34-0 ahead and put the game beyond reach when they added four tries in the space of seven minutes early in the second half.

Second placed Goole, also unbeaten after seven matches, kept on the pace with a 62-0 victory at bottom-placed Garforth, scoring 10 tries.

Bramley Phoenix, in third, scored the only eight tries of the match in a 54-6 home victory over Halifax Vandals, who like Garforth are still looking for their first win. A five-point win saw Thornensians move clear of their rivals when they scored six tries to one in a 37-5 home victory over Old Otliensians. Chris Panks and Oliver Cox scored two each. Aireborough ran out 23-18 winners over Rotherham Phoenix.
