Cricket latest: Warwickshire forced to follow on at Headingley

YORKSHIRE claimed only two wickets during the third afternoon of their County Championship match against Warwickshire at Headingley Carnegie.

The visitors are 142-3 at the break - still 30 runs behind - after Yorkshire captain Jacques Rudolph enforced the follow-on.

But Warwickshire are effectively four-down after Jim Troughton was forced to retire hurt shortly before tea after being struck on the helmet by a Tino Best bouncer.

Troughton left the field clutching a blue towel to his forehead and was replaced at the crease by Ateeq Javid.

Adil Rashid claimed both wickets to fall during the afternoon session.

The leg-spinner had Ant Botha caught behind for 24 with the total on 82 and, in his next over, had Warwickshire captain Ian Westwood lbw for 42.

At tea, Rikki Clarke is unbeaten on 30 and Javid undefeated on 10.
